Ian has been in Love for over 20 years. He started as an apprentice hand-planner at Swift Graphics in Southampton. He moved to the advertising world in London in 1994 for a six month contract at Tapestry in Soho and stayed 12 years! During that time he migrated to Macs and Photoshop and the world of colour newspaper printing and colour management in general.
Loveurope came calling in 1994 and after initially heading up the repro department at the in-house McCann studio, he moved to a group colour manager role at our head office two years later. He has acquired a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of the production process along the way and he led our move to a more efficient automated production workflow.
A keen skier, a golfer, a Southampton fan, he loves to cook curries and doesn’t mind eating them either. He is happily married with two daughters. He can sometimes be found on a Sunday in sports halls up and down the country, full of 6- to 17-year-old dancers, watching his daughters compete. He does not dance.
